accentI hope everyone has been doing well. I’m right in the middle of Wedding season and it’s been an amazing one so far! Each one of my couples has been super fabulous and has really made me appreciate what I do! I am honoured to be working with such wonderful people! A few months back, I went over to Montreal for Sonal and Nitin’s E-Shoot. Sonal and Nitin are so awesome that they went around Montreal and scoped out locations for their shoot…and every place we went to, I was totally blown away by the beauty! We did some shots in the Old Port Area, then some in downtown by the Love Statue and a few other spots!

I will leave you with their E-shoot pictures to enjoy…very soon I will be blogging about their wedding too! so stay tuned! It was one amazing wedding!

accentSultan contacted me because he wanted to get portraits done of him and Saira as a surprise gift for their wedding anniversary. We worked out all the logistics and before I knew it, I was in Mississauga for their portraits! We had an amazing time! Saira and Sultan are super nice people and you can definitely feel the love between the two. We started off by taking some pictures in their gorgeous condo (Mega props to you Saira for the awesome decor).  After a quick outfit change, we moved over to Kariya Park. I love this park because there are so many elements to work with .  I love the Japanese feel to the garden but I also love that there are so many little details and focal points in that garden.

I’m going to stop rambling now - Congrats Saira and Sultan on your anniversary and I wish you many many more!

P.S. Saira has the most stunning eyes ever!!! and omg I can’t believe how photogenic these two are! Guys you were phenomenal in front of the camera!

This weekend was one of my only free weekends in the next few weeks so I definitely made the most of it. I got a lot of editing done and even ordered 2 Brides books.  So now I’m right on schedule with the deadlines I set for myself each week. I started putting together this blog post last night but by the time I selected the images to upload, I was so sleepy that I had to put this off until today - so here goes:

I have quite a few engagement shoots I want to share with you guys, mostly of my couples who are getting married in the next few weeks so it’s very exciting! Today I’m going to be sharing pictures from Sarah and Sanjoy’s engagement shoot.   Sarah and Sanjoy both were a lot of fun to work with, they are super sweet and super awesome! I love how they are with each other. We started off in Byward Market for their shoot and worked our way over to the Chateau Laurier area.  Okay so rather then going on and on about the shoot, I’m just going to share the pictures and let you guys enjoy them!

accentI got to photograph Jenna and Marc just a few weeks back in the middle of downtown! Can you believe these were taken right on Somerset and Kent! lol I was driving by one that area one day and thought to myself how awesome of a location this is…lots of doors, windows, focal points…it’s perfect for a portrait session…so I already had a location in mind even before I met Jenna and Marc!

The shoot was simply awesome! Jenna and Marc share this amazing energy and just fit together sooo perfectly! This shoot has to have been one of my most easiest and funnest because the couple was all about each other! They weren’t aware of their surroundings, or who was walking by..just totally into each other! which is what I normally try to do in a shoot. I try to get the couple to focus on each other so that they can block out all the external factors.

So enjoy these pictures! I’m sure you’ll love the energy between these two!

I had the opportunity to photograph one of my gorgeous best friends a while back - she kept asking me what she should wear and I told her to just be herself…and she shows up to the shoot in this hot hot hot coat! and I knew exactly how the shoot was going to turn out!  I love the vintage feel of these images - Saadiaa you rocked this shoot!!

Can you tell this was done at the Living Arts Center in Mississauga? lollll it was too cold to be outside :)
