Shezan part one | Personal

November 11, 2009

accentI was in New Jersey this past weekend and of course I had to make a trip to Shezan on Oak Tree Road.  I’ve been going to Shezan for god knows how many years now and over the years there are some Shezan specialties that have become my favourite - for example their HALEEM! OMG!!! It has to be the best Haleem in he world! and then there’s…wait wait…. So I’m going to be doing this blog post in 2 parts - this first part is all the decor and stuff and the 2nd post will have the food..so I will leave the obsessing over Shezan dishes for the 2nd post :)

For those of you familiar with Shezan - you’ll recall that Shezan has two parts, The Restaurant and The Banquet Hall.  Well Shezan The Restaurant just underwent a major makeover and has emerged better than ever! With a very trendy-chic ambiance and a look that screams Wow! Shezan has now added a whole palette of Afghani grilled goodies to their menu along with the classic Pakistani specialties.  They have also added a whole section to the restaurant which offers floor seating to enjoy your meal…very middle eastern-esque indeed!  I think I’ve given you guys a good idea of what you could expect so make sure next time you are in the town of Edison New Jersey and happen to be on Oak Tree Road… definitely make a pit stop at Shezan and try out their wonderful dishes.
