It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Hope you get to enjoy it with the ones you love the most.

I’ve been shooting weddings for about 4 years now and it still feels like I just shot my first wedding last week. I remember every single detail, all the little girls giggling, all the women gossiping, all the colours, the customs, and all the love…..if I had to choose one thing that keeps me looking forward to every wedding…it has to be the love..the love I get to witness between the bride and her parents, the groom and his parents, the families and of course the love which is shared by the bride and groom. I do it for the Love!

Today I’ll be sharing one of my most favourite images from an Afghan wedding I photographed this past summer. Every time I photograph a wedding I fall in love with each of my couples but at this wedding I totally fell in love with their families too! Lately I’ve really been feeling like I’m on cloud nine (m’A). Things have just been really good and the kindness and generosity I get to experience on a daily basis just blows me away. So I thought I would share something extra special with you all today.

Yess!! I was in the beautiful city of Istanbul just a few weeks back.  So how many of you have actually been to Turkey? Don’t you just fall in love with that country? I mean every person  you meet is super friendly and omg the History and the culture…and of course the food!

So over the next few weeks, I’m going to be sharing little tid bits from my trip to Istanbul. and if any of you are planning on visiting Turkey anytime soon, do let me know - I’d love to answer any questions and offer insights from my experiences.

For today - I share with you my most favourite image. I shot this the first night I was there, I was standing on the Galata Bridge in the Old city.  Something about this picture just transports me back to Istanbul. Just love it!
