The International House at Ottawa University does their International Gala every year and every year the event is this extravagant affair! They involve ambassadors and all sorts of officials attend and all night long they give away door prizes which have been sponsored by various Embassies.  It’s just an event full of beautiful cultures, mind-blowing performances, exquisite dresses and the most delectable spread of food! This years’s Mediterranean themed Gala was held at the National Art Gallery.  The view of the Parliment from our tables was just breath-taking!

Definitely an experience! Enjoy the pictures I got of the night’s perfomances.

accent Hello Hello! How is everyone today?

The Olympic Torch was in Ottawa last week and I got a chance to go see it, and hold it for myself! As you all know the winter olympics will be taking place in Vancouver in 2010. Have a look at the pictures I took of the torch. Oh and these pictures were taken with my cellphone..lolll I had to use what I had!  :)

Enjoy!

Paul is an amazing friend! I met him at school a few years ago and our love for photography has kept us connected, all these years.  A few weeks back Paul was in town and we had been talking about doing some headshots for him…oh by the way..Paul is this  budding actor…be on the lookout for him in the future!

So we got together at the National Art Gallery and just got a chance to hang out and get some great shots! Have a look and don’t forget to let me know what you think!

Hi guys! I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t really had much time to blog about any of my latest projects! Just an FYI…in the next few days you can expect pictures from this fabulous portrait session I did with Paul at the National Art Gallery! Ottawa is just gorgeous and so full of culture! You can also expect some shots of the Olympic Torch (YESS!!), The International Gala that I attended at the National Art Gallery (Beautiful and Breathtaking) and pictures of RDB!!!!! Yessss you read right! I got some amazing shots of all of them! Indy Sagu, Nindy and of course Manj - doing what they do best!

So hold your seats because the next few days are going to really make up for all my M.I.A.

Oh before I go - In April, I am going to be photographing a beautiful Dinner. This dinner is organized by The Ottawa Muslim Women’s Organization. The Annual Festival of Friendship Dinner is something I have been going to for the past few years and have been blown away by the love and support displayed by the community. This year they will be supporting the Osteoporosis Society of Canada and the Centre for the study of Islam at Carleton University.  The Executive members of OMWO work day and night to make this event a success and I am honoured to be able to contribute to it.  I’ve attached a poster with more details - Get your tickets now because this event is sold out each year!
