Who doesn’t know about the Eaton Center in downtown Toronto? It’s a central hub for all things chic and is simply full of culture and life!  The one thing I love about this mall is the fountain that goes up to the 2nd level! So as you are going up the escalator or just walking by..you can not miss this gorgeous water feature.

And then there is the Dundas Square…always full of hustle and bustle.  Always something new and exciting happening there.  As I walked out of the Eaton Center I saw this group of people offering free hugs…what an idea!

After a long day of shooting in downtown Toronto, I was ready to hit the bed and get some sleep.  I parked my car and decided to grab something to eat before heading to my hotel.  While I waited for my food to get ready, I realized I really hadn’t tested my camera’s night shooting capabitlies…I happened to be standing right outside the City Hall, so I took out my camera and took this shot… hand-held.  I didn’t think to much of it at that point because I think the fatigue was really getting to me…but later when I downloaded the images onto my laptop I was flabbergasted! Look at the clarity and sharpness on this images! WOW….All I have to say is…I love my 5D.

Everytime we go on a road trip, I always have this desire to go exploring along the way…ofcourse this never happens because we’re always trying to get somewhere on time and everyone would rather spend time at the destination than in travelling..etc…etc.. you get the picture right? 

So a few weeks back when I was heading to Toronto for my Portrait Sessions…I saw this park along the way and I don’t know what got into me…but I just pulled over.  I got off and took a few mintues to walk through and enjoy the lovely day.  Spring was finally here! It was so quiet and peaceful. I pulled out my camera and started clicking away. After about 15 mintues I was totally rejuvinated and was ready to resume my road trip….I think spontaneous stop overs are going to become a regular part of my road trips!
