Weddings ... Portraits ... Memories
How was everyone’s Christmas? I hope it was full of love and happiness - time spent with family and loved ones - full of surprises and gifts.
I’m here with a little gift for everyone! You guys may recall Hina, Gautam and Suhaan from when I did their portraits way back in Spring, I later photographed Suhaan’s 1st Birthday in July (If you missed those pictures you can have a look at Part I by going HERE and Part II by going HERE).
Over the last year I’ve gotten to know Hina and Gautam’s families and I can tell you that they’re the most genuine and sincere folks ever. Each person is so great…even their nieces Roshni and Anoushka were total sweethearts! I had a great time getting to know everyone. Thanks Hina and Gautam for welcoming me so warmly into your family! You guys are blessed with such an amazing one!
So today I’m here with Portraits we did just before Suhaan’s birthday party, we went over to Kariya Park and luckily the weather cooperated with us - I had a great time doing them. Hope you enjoy them!
So you guys have had the pleasure to view Kiran and Salman’s Mehendi and Shaadi pictures. Today I’m here with their Bridal Portraits done on their Valima Day. All I have to say is Salman is one lucky fella! Kiran is stunning!! When I saw her at the mehendi I thought to myself…wow she’s gorgeous; and then the following day at their wedding, when I saw her all done up as a Bride..I thought again, WOW she’s gorgeous!. Little did I know that the Valima day would be even more WOW than the first 2 days! As Kiran stepped out of the car I was totally blown away! Her clothes were gorgeous, her makeup was flawless and she carried herself with such poise. I’m so glad we got time to do the bridal portraits on this day - the timing was perfect - we got the Golden Hour as photographers like to call it (Golden Hour = An hour before sunset, when everything is perfect and life is beautiful!) and Kiran and Salman looked amazing! (masha’Allah).

Oh and I’m sure all you ladies are wondering who did Kiran’s makeup - well it was no other than MY (and our) favourite Shirley Wu! Shirley I love photographing your brides because you manage to bring out their most beautiful features with your artistry!!! You totally have the magic touch and you make my job so easy!! Thankss!!!
Hello Hello folks! How is everyone doing? I guess busy with last minute shopping and travelling right?? That’s what happens around this time - and before you know it, it will be over! I can’t wait for 2010 to start! I know this year will be a HUGE year for me…I just have a strong feeling about it.
As most of you know it’s become a tradition in our house to have an Eid Tree…We had one last year and we enjoyed having it so much that we really wanted it to be a part of our Eid this year also. Those of you who want to see last years tree, Click Here.
I’m sure everyone is pretty busy these days…with the holidays fast approaching, Christmas right around the corner and 2010 closer than ever! I, too have been trying to get everything for 2009 under control…meaning, I’ve been putting in extra hours just to make sure that I can get all editing, processing, ordering done for 2009 before the end of this year! Also since I’m going to be away for almost all of January…it leaves me one less month to Edit, Order, Organize in 2010.
Where am I going in January you ask…hehe..well a lot of places! First I’m heading to Mystic, Connecticut for Walter Van Dusen’s Mystic 5 Workshop. It’s going to be 3 days of jam packed photography-ness with the likes of Jerry Ghionis, David Williams, Dave and Quin Cheung and many many many other International Photographers. I CAN’T WAIT!!!!! (I believe there is still space left, so if you haven’t already registered, make sure you register now!).
After Connecticut, I’m heading to Fort Lauderdale to shoot a wedding….SUN here I COME! I can’t wait!!!! I’ll be there for a few days so if anyone is looking to get Portraits done, just send me a quick msg..also Photographers in that area….would love to meet for coffee!
My last stop will be New York where I’m shooting another wedding and finally returning to Canada by the end of January. I managed to squeeze in some vacation time in between the weddings..might as well enjoy the Sun and the warmth while I can right?
Okay now on to business, Today I am going to be sharing images from Khadija and Ishaque’s most elegant, most sophisticated wedding that I shot at The Museum of Civilization earlier this year. Khadija and Ishaque are two of the most amazing people I know and their families are just wonderful! I decided to present the images to you a little differently this time….instead of blogging multiple times to share all the parts, I’ll only be posting pictures from their Bridal Session in the blog post…the rest of the Reception will be presented in the form of a slideshow! Fun stuff!
I had a great time photographing their reception and I just can’t wait to share the images with you. So without further adieu….I present to you…Khadija and Ishaque’s Bridal Portraits.
I love how all the tourists are huddled around Khadija…everyone wanted her picture!! haha Khadija you’re a celebrity!
